New Micro-Grant Deadline Coming Up on June 1

While SK Arts’ Micro-Grant Program is still under revision, the first stream, Organizational Development, is live with the first annual deadline on June 1, 2026. This stream provides support for professional arts organizations to increase their organizational and artistic capacity by:
- Undertaking specialized artistic, administrative training or operational transitions
- Strategic planning
- Creating access for under-served applicants.
Organizations can apply for a maximum of $5000 to fund activities such as:
- Courses, workshops or conferences for personnel
- Cultural training
- Mentorships
- Governance-related training for board member and more.

If it looks like a fit for your organization, reach out to a Program Consultant (listed on the website) to discuss your idea or login to the online grant portal to view the application.
More Information to Come
Information on the applications and deadlines for the streams dedicated to supporting professional artists and collectives will roll out in the coming months. These streams will focus on supporting professional development opportunities. This revised, three-stream structure of the Micro-Grant program will enable SK Arts to better address community needs and increase long-term impact.
SK Arts paused the Micro-Grant program in March 2026 to focus on targeted, underserved areas of our arts ecology. The agency remains dedicated to supporting Saskatchewan’s arts sector, addressing evolving needs and ensuring program effectiveness.
